Ghostwriters all of us are a peculiar breed.

We’re the ancient wild Prezwalski Horse, the Blue Bird with burnished orange vest, the multi-coloured Betta with gills flaring when enemies threaten. And enemies we have, most notably and notoriously the mysterious, scary, beguiling axis of blockage known as Me, Myself and I.

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you,” said Maya Angelou, poet, singer, memoirist, and civil rights activist. The story gestates inside your very being and stirs your personal holy ghost, refusing to rest as discontent rattles the chains of your soul.

The story could be anything.

Not all readers are the same. Like every person is different, so too is every reader. Some are too busy to read much. Except on a long vacation or flight, they don’t have the time.

Others have a little bit of time, but only so much. An occasional evening, a lazy Sunday, regular commuter flights. Then there’s the insatiable who can devour a whole opus like weightless caramel corn…

Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood Once Wrote a Song, “Every Picture Tells a Story,” Which I’m Moved to Embrace as My Writer’s Motto, but With a Twist:

“Every Life Tells a Story.”

And that’s what I do. I transform the kaleidoscope of people’s lives into stories.

In today’s crazy world, people’s lives are palates for the most amazing adventures ever, with drama, twists, and turns – from famine to fame, defalcation to redemption, poverty to riches beyond one’s wildest dreams. A simple book can say so much, that not to write it might properly be deemed criminal. You live only once, and you have so much to say. Why not say it now?

Ah, but Steve, writing a book is easier said than done, you wisely reply, and you’re damned right. Manifesting a book is not a walk in the park, a piece of cake, or a cliché. It is the melding of art with science, creativity and discipline, speed to grace.

The essence smoothed into a theme that explodes off the page, or sings sweetly like a serenade – this is the making of stories that find bindings.

As a once-law professor, trial lawyer, entertainment head, rock journalist, music manager, show booker, and professor of life’s histories, politics, ethics, trials and tribulations — I now ghost-write, co-write, story edit, and consult to stars dim or bright, a chameleon whose skin is his keyboard, whose notes are your voice, whose mission is your beginning, middle, and end.

I write memoirs inspired by life’s most compelling moments, biographies about you and how-tos on how to fix it and fiction incubating in minds for years, scientific truth that cries out to be told, the thriller that shocks and the mystery that reveals. Simple and complex are both my wheelhouse, two sides of the same gold ducat jingling in my pocket.

Yet I am neither poet nor bard. I write rarely for me and mostly for you. Go directly to the tabs that provide what you want, for I shall not waste your valuable time. There find all you need to know About Steve, his Publications, Freelancing, Legalities & Legalism, Music & Entertainment, Testimonials, Blogs, Contact and Hire Steve – for these are what I offer.

And if you find what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to dash off an email or give me a call… but always remember this: I might well be deeply down a rabbit hole pursing my muse. So if you don’t reach me at once, just jot me a note about the story you want told. I promise to reply.

Thank you my friends… for visiting the story that never ends… A proud hack from Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s “Karn Evil 9.”
